I've had a number of Somnia subscribers ask if I could publish a post containing my best resources to get sponsors, improve your training, get a mental edge, etc.
Well, here it is!
I’ll keep adding to it as I learn more, but you’ll notice that in the future I will reference this page quite often.
I highly recommend bookmarking this post for your reference and convenience.
The Sponsorship Seeker's Toolkit - This is, by far, my favorite book on getting sponsorship's. It's packed with absolute gold. It's aimed at people looking to get corporate sponsors. However, the fundamentals and techniques are easily transferable to fighters looking to get MMA sponsors. Read this, apply it, and your sponsorship game will go to the next level.
How to Get Sponsorships and Endorsements - This is a little-known gem. The focus of this book is on helping indie bands get sponsors. But again, the fundamentals and techniques are easy to apply to getting MMA sponsors. It also has a lot of great visual examples of sponsorship proposals. Another plus is that this book is a much easier read than The Sponsorship Seeker's Toolkit.
The Ultimate Guide to Getting Sponsorship in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - Great book by Hywel Teague. Even though it's about BJJ, it can be applied to MMA. It's a short read with tons of helpful info and includes interviews with athletes and industry figures and even sample contracts you can use.
